Uses for our Coloured Magnetic Labels:

These magnetic labels are used throughout homes businesses and recreational spaces like mobile homes and marine craft for purposes of identification and communication. Colour coding can communicate information before any expressed text has a chance to be read.

Red means danger or warning in many cultures. Attached to electrical and plumbing apparatus, people approaching these signs are immediately on guard. Blue is associated with water and green with recycling protocols. Marking with a white board marker further refines the usefulness and versatility of these magnetic labels.

Colour coded magnetic labels constitute a method of identifying or separating blocks of uniform units like lockers or storage units simply by virtue of their colour and position. The expressed surface of the magnetic label allows for easy and permanent marking using a white board marker pen which is easily erasable with a cloth for a new marking. The number of colours determines the first number of subsets and individual markings provide further delineation or refinement within those subsets.

This method of colour coding using magnetic labelling with a permanent and erasable expressed surface is very helpful where change occurs as a matter of course. For school lockers for example colour could delineate use for the particular year, age or gender of students. Students are then able to name their locker individually on the surface of the label, until the next wave of students appear to wipe off the old and herald the new.
