Arranged in order of arrival (chronology) or importance (priority) documents like client variations or the staffing requirements on different projects under can be differentiated from one another by designation of a particular colour.

Different documents but relating to the same client attract the same colour, or invoices or time sheets from different job sites attract different colours to separate them from each other.

These pin magnets easily enable items to be placed, removed or repositioned according to their status. Course co-ordinators can manipulate materials in this way with the confidence of a card sharp.

In practised hands, watching and listening to someone move items around confidently and quickly using coloured pin magnets can be quite mesmerising. Nothing emphasises or underlines a key point on a work wall like a confident and dramatic magnetic pin slap.

Sometimes referred to as pawn magnets, these coloured pins are always poised for service on magnetic surfaces like white goods, range hoods and metal structures in the garage or tool shed. At work or the workshop similar surfaces suitable for magnetic cling can be a home for coloured magnetic pins for impromptu suspension of useful notices or all points messaging.

In police procedurals or a private eye explaining investigative methods to their clients or subordinates nothing says ‘We are going to win’, or ‘I’m really angry now’, like smacking a pin magnet into the middle of the suspect’s mug shot.
