Neodymium Cylinder - 12.7mm x 12.7mm

Product Code 21020
Pull Force* 6 kg
Weight 12 gm
Style Neodymium Cylinder magnet
Coating Nickel (NiCuNi)
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised
Dimensions Height:12.7mm, Diameter:12.7mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This neo cylinder magnet has a diameter of 12.7mm and a height of 12.7mm, the imperial equivalent size of half an inch. It has a flux density reading of 5635 Gauss and a pull force of 6 kilos against 3mm mild steel. Its part number is 21020.

Uses for our rare earth cylinder magnets:

Equal in height and width dimensions, this round, disc-like Neodymium magnet only just qualifies for cylindrical status. The 12.7 mm measurements are also the equivalent of 1/2 inch Imperial dimensions. These compact magnets are ideal for rebating into timber or plastic forms to create a non-penetrative bond between two surfaces, no matter what type of material is involved. All cylinder magnets have strong and penetrative fields that also make them useful for metal detection or retrieval and for ferrous metal sensing purposes. Neodymium raw magnetic material is extremely powerful for its size and since the 1980's has enabled small and lightweight products to come onto world markets in the form of new and more efficient technologies,  such as computer disc drives and smartphones.
