Ferrite, sometimes known as Ceramic material, does not corrode, rust or demagnetise easily, so when outdoor exposure is anticipated, Ferrite magnets have superior resistance and are highly recommended. Ferrite can withstand temperatures up to 250ºC without demagnetisatiion and are unaffected by most liquids. This ability not to deteriorate makes them reliable and cost-effective, especially in outdoor locations.
