Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite block magnet has a 150mm length, a 50mm width and a height of 25.4mm. This ferrite magnet has a  magnetic flux reading of  1982 Gauss and a pull force of  9 kg. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 12015.

Uses for our ferrite block magnets:

Ferrite Block magnets are valued for their wide magnetic field that allows them to attract metallic impurities and debris over much larger distances than other magnetic materials. Ferrite Blocks like this one with a 1-inch thickness are efficient in this role and are highly suited to metal detection activities and swarf removal. They can be incorporated into purpose-built devices that hover on wheeled apparatus above the contaminated surface and because they have high resistance to chemicals and corrosion, this includes outdoor and open-air locations affected by moisture. In car parks, airfields, industrial sites and driveways, they attract unwanted metal contaminants so they can be disposed of or, in many cases, recycled This ferrite magnet is also ideal for metal separation assemblies and for metal buffering and repelling functions.
