Uses for our ferrite block magnets:
Ferrite Block magnets are a very affordable alternative to other magnets yet have many of the same properties that dearer magnets provide. They are permanent, strong, anti-corrosive and also have a high electrical resistance which is essential in transformer core operation and in computer memory and storage. Some Ferrite material is used in the operation of microwave technology. The readily available raw Ferrite material makes these magnets very economical but they do have a weakness. For this reason, care should be taken to protect the magnet from any impact that will cause it to chip, crack or break. Inside DC powered equipment, Ferrite magnets transform electrical power into movement in a range of electric motors.
