Ferrite Disc Magnet - 12mm x 6mm ISO
Product Code 10130
Pull Force* 0.16 kg
Weight 3 gm
Style Ferrite disc magnet (ISO)
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised thru the 6mm
Dimensions Thickness:6mm, Diameter:12mm
*Measured against up to 10mm mild steel.

Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite disc magnet has a diameter of 12mm and a thickness of 6mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 970 Gauss and a pull force of 160 grams. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 10130.

Uses for our ferrite disc magnets:

These Isotropic  Ferrite Discs have not undergone Axial magnetisation during manufacturing and as a result, have a non-directional magnetic field. This makes the field weaker and less concentrated but the omission of this manufacturing stage greatly reduces their production cost, making them very inexpensive. In all other regards, they have the same properties as other Ferrite magnets which includes tolerance to heat and resistance to corrosion.
