Ferrite Disc Magnet - 20mm x 3mm

Product Code 10050
Pull Force* 0.35 kg
Weight 4 gm
Style Ferrite Disc magnet
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised thru the 3mm
Dimensions Thickness:3mm, Diameter:20mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite disc magnet has a diameter of 20mm and a thickness of 3mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1994 Gauss and a pull force of 350 grams. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 10050 .

Uses for our ferrite disc magnets:

Ferrite magnetic raw material is in abundance in the world and therefore inexpensive, making it an ideal low-cost alternative to other permanent magnet material. Ferrite has excellent resistance to corrosion and can operate at temperatures up to 250ºC without demagnetisation, making it irreplaceable in certain applications where heat processing occurs. When managed with a degree of care, these inexpensive Ferrite Disc magnets, sometimes called "Ceramics", will provide years of effective, reusable, low-cost permanent magnetic power. Ferrite magnets are hard and brittle so care should be taken to avoid shocks or vibration. Their wide magnetic field makes them ideal in metal detection and collection roles. Once any surface dust is removed they can be easily attached to other surfaces with Epoxy glue.
