Ferrite Disc Magnet - 20mm x 6mm

Product Code 10030
Pull Force* 0.70 kg
Weight 9 gm
Style Ferrite Disc magnet
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised thru the 6mm
Dimensions Thickness:6mm, Diameter:20mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite disc magnet has a diameter of 20mm and a thickness of 6mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1978 Gauss and a pull force of 700 grams. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 10030.

Uses for our ferrite disc magnets:

These Ferrite Discs have been superseded by smaller, stronger Neodymium products since the mid-1980s but Ferrite magnets, also known as Ceramic magnets, still offer benefits in terms of their cost-effectiveness and high resistance to corrosion. For single use or temporary applications that are outdoors, exposed to water or in marine environments, Ferrite Discs present a viable option. Combinations of disc height and diameter from our range will provide the correct amount of magnetic adhesion for your project. Unlike Block shapes, a routing tool or drill will make an appropriate recess for a Disc to lie in. At a depth of 6mm, these discs can be recessed and glued into timber or similar material and used to hold tools in place or to create a removable bond between two surfaces.
