Magnetic Product Description:
This ferrite disc magnet has a diameter of 22mm and a thickness of 10mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1219 Gauss and a pull force of 1.2 kg. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 10013.
Uses for our ferrite disc magnets:
Ferrite magnets are sometimes called Ceramic magnets and are known for their brittle and hard material composition. This leaves them with a general mechanical weakness and makes them susceptible to cracking, chipping and damage from abrasion. When used in the appropriate application however, they provide reliable and permanent magnetic power which is also cost-efficient, anti-corrosive and heat resistant. (They retain their magnetic power at temperatures up to 250ºC).For a low-cost general purpose magnet, Ferrite Disc magnets are hard to overlook.
