Neodymium Disc Magnet 4mm x 2mm N50
Product code: D-D4H2-N50
Neodymium Disc Magnet 4mm x 2mm N50
Uses for our Rare Earth Disc Magnets:
.
The North and South magnetic poles of this strong N50 grade Neodymium disc magnet appear on the opposing flat circular surfaces. In other words, the magnetic field passes through the 2mm thickness dimension. These negative and positive poles will attach to a metal surface. They also attract magnets with the opposite pole present or repel a magnet with the same pole present. The intensified magnetic field produced by Neodymium material is superior to all other permanent magnets and compensates for the diminutive dimensions of small magnets such as this.
Disc magnets of any size or strength are useful for applications where height is restricted or when they are required to operate in confined spaces. Flat, round magnets are easily concealed beneath the surface of a product or inside the lining of a material or garment. Rare Earth magnets can be used to create a magnetic bond between two surfaces that are not metallic. They are easily glued to each surface with opposing poles exposed, forming a bond that is both permanent and removable that can replace the need for old fashioned fixture systems such as screws and nails. When creating a bond with steel surfaces, only one magnet is required.
