Magnetic Product Description:

This Magnafix tape magnet has a width of 12.5mm and a thickness of 1.6mm. This tape comes in a 30 metres length roll. It has a 3M 9448 adhesive on its part A. Identified by the AMF Magnets part number 59063A. This product is not recommended for use with large sheets of perspex thicker than 6mm.

Uses for our Magnafix Magnetic Tape:

AMF Magnafix tape systems use self-adhesive tape with matched pole surfaces on the opposite side to create a magnetic attachment system that does not require ferrous metal of any kind to operate. Tapes A and B have opposite poles and attract and bond together magnetically and with a moderate amount of pull-force will release. For double-glazing, noise reduction and insulation products that need to attach to windows and doors, this magnetic tape system is ideal. Timber, plastic, acrylics and alloy materials can all be attached magnetically. The Magnafix system is also ideal for setting up safety screens, barriers and protective shields that can be installed and removed as needed. This product has a width of 12.5mm and can be purchased in a roll or by the metre. Be sure to order both A and B components for your project.

For lightbox signage please use our Magnafix Tape with a TESA 4965 adhesive. The specially developed adhesives for the Magnafix range of magnetic tapes provides superior adhesion to acrylics, steel, aluminium and other hard to adhere to surfaces.   

Flyscreens and acrylic panels without a frame will require extra adhesive to bond, or product will fail.
