Ferrite magnets resist damage from corrosive forces and can perform at high(250ºC) temperatures. This makes them very durable and reliable components for metal detection devices and also in applications where exposure to weather is encountered on a regular basis. The broad magnetic face of this block magnet provides a large contact area to a metal surface and creates a bond that will not be dislodged easily or accidentally.
