Ferrite Disc Magnet - 7mm x 3mm ISO

Product Code 10170
Pull Force* 0.05 kg
Weight 1 gm
Style Ferrite Disc magnet ISO
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised thru the 3mm
Dimensions Thickness:3mm, Diameter:7mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite disc magnet has a diameter of 7mm and a thickness of 3mm. As an isotropic magnet this has a magnetic flux reading of 1956 Gauss and a weaker pull force than a same size axially magnetised ferrite magnet. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 10170.

Uses for our ferrite disc magnets:

These Isotropic Ferrite disc magnets, unlike axially oriented magnets with a North and South pole, have not been magnetically oriented on any particular axis and so are considerably weaker than an Anisotropic magnet.  However, their low production costs make theme very economical to purchase and are a cost-effective option for mass-produced items as well as small-scale promotional products. This Ferrite Disc magnet has no defined poles and is often used in school science experiments to help demonstrate the characteristics of magnetic fields to students
