Ferrite Pot Magnet - 25mm x 8mm
Product code: 89017
Ferrite Pot Magnet - 25mm x 8mm
Magnetic Product Description:
This ferrite pot magnet has a diameter of 25mm and a height of 8mm. It has a countersunk magnet bore and a 4.5mm pot bore. This ferrite magnet is identified by the AMF magnet part number 89017.
Uses for our ferrite pot magnets:
Capped Ferrite magnets, also called "Pot" magnets have been designed to overcome the inherent weak mechanical strength of Ferrite material by protecting the magnet from damage. With the countersunk hole for attachment, any non-ferrous item, such as timber, plastic or even cloth, can be made magnetic and can bond with surfaces around vehicles, machinery, relocatable buildings and sheds. The cap also redirects some of the magnetic power to the uncapped base area and, as an added bonus, increases its overall holding ability. In certain applications, especially where the corrosion resistant properties of Ferrite magnets are valued, these Pot magnets can be a very cost-effective alternative.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten attachment screws as this can potentially cause the magnet to crack or become damaged.
Different diameters and hole sizes available can be seen on the chart below.
