Ferrite Pot Magnet - 88mm x 18.5mm
Product Code 89030
Pull Force* 30 kg
Weight 500 gm
Style Ferrite Pot magnet
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised thru the 20mm
*Measured against up to 10mm mild steel.

Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite pot magnet has a diameter of 88mm, a height of 18.5mm and a pull force of 30kg. It has a 32mm magnet bore and a 13.6mm pot bore. This ferrite magnet is identified by the AMF magnet part number 89030.

Uses for our ferrite pot magnets:

These very large Ferrite Pot magnets are manufactured with a mild steel casing over a ferrite ring magnet and have a 13.6mm diameter Por Bore for fixing with a screw, or alternatively a nut and bolt. N.B. Check the mag bore dimension seen in the diagram to the left to see the maximum size of nut it will accommodate. This makes attaching a magnet to non-magnetic surfaces easy. Wood, Plastic or just about any material can be connected magnetically to ferrous surfaces by attaching these corrosion-resistant Holding Pots. Attaching a threaded eyelet or hook can also be useful in some instances and will also provide a leverage point for easy removal or repositioning as required. The casing also concentrates the pull force to the uncapped base (North Pole), increasing the holding power while also protecting it from impact damage.

The chart below shows other available dimensions for this type of Holding Magnet.
