Neodymium Block - 20mm x 12mm x 5mm | Epoxy Coating

Product Code 22021E
Pull Force* 5.9 kg
Weight 36 gm
Style Neodymium block magnet with Epoxy coating
Coating Nickel (NiCuNi) + Epoxy
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised
Dimensions Width:12mm, Height:5mm, Length:20mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This magnet has a length of 20mm, a width of 12mm and a height of 5mm. It uses AMF Magnet part number 22021E.

Uses for our Rare Earth block magnets:

Rare Earth Block magnets are the strongest permanent magnets in production due to their superior holding power and compact size. Their only shortcoming compared to other permanent magnets is their lack of resistance to corrosion that occurs from exposure to weather. Epoxy coatings overcome this weakness by encapsulating the nickel-coated magnet and providing long-term protection from moisture damage and the detrimental effects of oxidisation and corrosion which weaken the mechanical strength of the magnet and may cause it to crack or chip. Although the Epoxy coating has a positive effect on the overall longevity of the magnet, the air gap created between metal and magnetic surfaces will reduce the holding strength and should be taken into consideration in applications where strength is important.
