Neodymium Block - 20mm x 20mm x 12mm

Product Code 22015
Pull Force* 14.8 kg
Weight 36 gm
Style Neodymium square Block magnet
Coating Nickel (NiCuNi)
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised
Dimensions Width:20mm, Height:12mm, Length:20mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This magnet has a length and width of 20mm and a height of 12mm. It has a magnetic flux of 4606 Gauss and a pull force of 14.8kg against 5mm mild steel. It uses AMF magnet part number 22015.

Uses for our neodymium block magnets:

Rare Earth Magnets are made of the strongest available Magnetic material that was developed during the 1980's. This magnet is relatively thick compared to its width and this added height increases the Magnetic holding strength of magnets generally A thicker magnet will be more powerful than a magnet of the same width and depth. If a thicker magnet is not appropriate because of spacial restrictions then a stronger grade of magnetism, that cost more to manufacture, and therefore purchase is an alternative solution. In some situations, the extra strength requirement can be achieved by stacking two thinner magnets on each other for an increased total strength of 1/3rd approximately This strong and compact block attains excellent holding power from an easy to handle shape with a relatively small footprint and is used for liquid conditioning, scientific research, medical equipment, metal separation, sensory and measurement instruments and electric motors and energy producing devices.
