Neodymium Disc - 12mm x 1mm

Product Code 20042
Pull Force* .600 kg
Weight 1 gm
Style Rare Earth Disc magnet
Coating Nickel (NiCuNi)
Direction of Magnetisation Axially magnetised
Dimensions Height:1mm, Diameter:12mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This rare earth disc has a diameter of 12mm and a height of 1mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 10036 Gauss and a pull force of 600 grams. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 20042.

Uses for our small rare earth disc magnets:

Don't let the slim profile of this disc fool you into assuming it has diminished holding ability. Neodymium magnetic material is the strongest known to man and this 12mm disc punches far above its weight. There are few situations around the home or hobby studio where a magnet of this size will not suffice. In some circumstances, two or three discs may be employed to take heavier loads but for holding metal model items or other fabrications onto a model landscape, these discs will pass the test. Die-cast creations can be rearranged with precision using the invisible and stabilizing power of thin disc magnets on their base. When it comes to permanent holding force from a relatively small magnet, discs made of Neodymium break the mould.
